Applied Statistics in R was an interdisciplinary research group at Ball State University. Members came from areas such as linguistics, sociology, math, psychology and business. We met regularly to discuss topics which were directly or indirectly related to our research interests, as well as topics which could help faculty and graduate students further develop their technical skills. Faculty and graduate students were welcome to attend as well as to lead discussions on any relevant topic.
